Group leader Mike Clover is a Native Texan from Fort Worth. Married since 1998 and the father of 2 girls and a boy, he joined Homewood Mortgage LLC in 2002 and built a team with a common goal: To provide low rates, low fees, fast closings, and exceptional service. Every member of the team has at least 10 years' experience in mortgage lending, and each shares Mike's strong belief in GOD, family, and doing the right thing. They pride themselves on being available to their clients days, evenings, and even week-ends in order to ensure the timely communication that leads to smooth transactions. They're also justifiably proud that their referral business comes not just from real estate professionals, but from past clients as well. This is no doubt due to the fact that along with a friendly manner they use teamwork, advanced technology, automated underwriting systems, and persistence to help families and individuals across Texas own their own homes. The Mike Clover Group is a full service mortgage banker team providing a wide range of products all over the great state of Texas.

Before you start looking for a home to buy, it’s a good idea to meet with your Loan Officer to get pre-approved for a loan amount. At this stage, the lender gathers information about income, assets and debts of the borrower (you) to determine how much house you may be able to afford. This includes a credit report, W-2 forms, pay stubs, Federal Tax Returns and recent bank statements. There are a variety of different loan programs, so make sure to get pre-qualification for the specific programs that best suit your needs.
We’ll help you find the best local loan officer to get you competitive rates and the programs that best fit your individual needs. Fill out this form and we’ll connect you with a lender today!
When you find property you’re ready to buy, your lender will help you complete a full mortgage loan application, and talk you through the various fees and down payment options. The application is submitted to processing, where the documents are reviewed and appraisals and title examination are ordered. Then the loan is sent to an underwriter, who reviews and approves the entire loan if it meets compliance.
